Zurita, you will see not to see” is the story of a man that held on to art in order to heal his own wounds. The documentary explores the poetic actions that he has carried out throughout his life. His poetic actions he imprinted in his own body, the body of earth and of the sky.
He has had Parkinson’s for 17 years now, the deterioration is gradual but it is accelerating at this stage. However, he manages to develop an intense vitality, facing life against the sunset. Blunt and stark, he is not afraid to confront questions about his own death.
His poetry is the search for light from the dark. Poems that vanish in geography, as the passage of human beings on Earth. Poems that speaks of the transient and the ephemiral of existence in an increasingly conflictive world.
